SQACE is an innovative low-code platform for business & IT, for all companies working with data. YOUR MISSION BASE

• You are part of a highly motivated and interdisciplinary crew that has created SQACE, a unique platform for effective data work with many no/low-code components, and is continuously expanding it at the highest level

Your MISSION

• You develop in Java low-code components for the SQACE platform that allow SQACE users to solve complex problems easily
• Use the Vaadin framework to safely create components in Java
• For the optimization of the visual appearance and the usability, you use your knowledge in HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• The functional scope of individual components is sometimes so powerful that you can fully apply your experience in software engineering
• You are already actively involved in the conception of the components and work out the solution with the best usability for the end user in short cycles on the basis of prototypes.
• In collaboration with UI/UX experts, solutions are created at the highest level
• With HTML, CSS and JavaScript you get everything out to make the components really easy to use and visually appealing for the user
• Your tasks also include the development of automated GUI tests for these components using the Java-based framework Vaadin-Testbench and the keyword-driven approach
• Your work is diverse and you can show your full potential

Your SKILLS

• Completed studies advantageous: (business) computer science
  
• Information technology or related degree
• You have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Java development using various frameworks including for web front-end development
• You enjoy developing appealing and usability optimized components with Java and Spring Boot, complemented by HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• You can handle Spring Boot, Maven, Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of Vaadin, Docker, JDBC and SQL is very useful, but can also be acquired "on-the-go"
• Coding is like composing for you and you enjoy working independently on new technologies and topics.
• Cloud APIs are an advantage, but not a must
• You enjoy working with others, whether on-site, remote or in English
• You are open to new things and can question existing thought patterns
